
When you think about telecommuting, certain kinds of jobs come to mind. Writer. Data entry. Bookkeeper. You might not be able to think of very many. However, there are quite a few jobs that are well suited to telecommuting.
What makes a job suitable for telecommuting? There are some basic characteristics common to all such jobs.
There are also certain characteristics required of a successful telecommuter. They must be self motivated, disciplined, have the skills to get the job done and know how to work independently.
Here is a basic list of jobs that may be suitable to telecommuting. Of course, telecommuting may not be practical in all situations, but there can be times when it is entirely appropriate. There are also many jobs not on this list that would go well with telecommuting.
