Thursday Thirteen – 13 Reasons I'm Glad to Have My Computer Back
Yes, my computer has been to the shop and back. Here are the reasons I’m so very glad to have it back.
- It was just the power supply – I didn’t lose anything.
- Now I can back it up again.
- I can work on my websites more easily on my computer than my husband’s.
- Not all my pictures were backed up to both machines (aaaaahhhh!).
- The little differences between the two Windows XP machines setup make a big difference somehow.
- Being able to watch Media Center as I work (yes, bad habit, but fun).
- My husband being able to use his computer when I want to work.
- The ergonomics of my setup are better for me than how my husband’s computer is setup.
- There are no longer loose cords to fascinate my son.
- Got good use of the service contract we bought for this computer.
- I can print again (printer not hooked up to #2).
- Easy access to my email accounts (also not set up on #2).
- The overall sense of relief to have my computer back and fully functional.
I really do appreciate how well Fry’s Electronics takes care of my computer. We bought from them after seeing how well they did with my older sister’s computer. It can be a pain to take a computer in for repair, but I compare that with my experience trying to get Dell to fix a previous computer, and I’ll stick with Fry’s.
