Most companies that have remote medical coding jobs require at least 2-3 years of experience. This means that no matter how well your training went, you probably won’t find a remote or online position right away.
This is actually a good thing, as experience teaches you things you won’t have learned in your training. Working in an office with more experienced people around you will help you gain the experience you need to do the job successfully at home.
